Sync Modular freeware PDF Print E-mail

It all started from a post on KVR...

SynC Modular, the modular synth/environment developed by Vadim Zavalishin, (who later stopped development and was hired by Native Instruments to join Reaktor 5 team) is now freeware.

You can download a copy of the .exe installer here.

The reg code is:

Name: Free registration
Code: eCDiPa-kbbmPZ-zGDJuyU

Note that casing is important for the reg code to work.

I have just installed it here in my Windows 7 Laptop and it works flawlesly...

Nintendo DS: ToneSynth + Korg DS-10 Jam PDF Print E-mail

This is just a quick tune made with 2 Nintendo DS using ToneSynth and 1 Nintendo with Korg DS-10 cartridge.

The Korg only provides the drums, the 2 ToneSynths generate the "bass" sound and melody lines/arpeggio.

Played and synced in realtime nothing else except a bit of reverb on the mixer

The Reason Refill Monster Group Buy from esoundz.com PDF Print E-mail

In case you haven't noticed, there's a massive Group Buy on esoundz.com called "Monster Reason Refill Group Buy". This GB includes all 20 titles form their original "Sonic Refill Gold bundle" for Propellerheads Reason, which was composed of 20 refills + another 18 Refills from the Ultra Symphonic, Ultra Hip Hop and Ultra Electronic series. That's a total of 38 refills.

The price is absurd! just 99$ (if you are in Europe this translates to about... 65 Euros!)  A no-brainer deal, I guess...

And the more people who join, this leads to even more bonus material, like other refills thrown in for free!!!

Go Get it, it only lasts until October 31st (Halloween)

B8 Organ Beta Test PDF Print E-mail

I have been working on a simple project lately, a VSTi emulation of an Organ.

It's not a B3, not even a B4...in fact it's a B8!

(also a pun name in Italian. I'll explain later...)

 B8 Screenshot

DOWNLOAD: www.autodafe.net/tmp/B8Organ_0.9.dll and copy to your VST folder

It's basically a reproduction of the old organs of the 60's-70's.

It has 9 oscillators, switchable between sine and saw wave, with drawbars, vibrato, chorus and reverb

Sine waves results in tones typical of a church organ, or hammond-type sounds.

Saw waves sound more like old combo organs, like Farfisas, Davoli, Crumar, for example.

Please download it and test it. Note that it's still a beta version.

Will be released for free after bugs are ironed out. Please report any bugs or malfunctioning.

Made with SynthMaker (thanks to Benjamin for help in code optimization, Hernst Hot for the presetmanager  and Angular Momentum for the Knob desing)

Propellerhead Record Beta Test: I am in PDF Print E-mail
I have just received an email from the Propellerheads guys, accepting me for beta testing their new sequencer, Record. I have just downloaded and installed it (850 MB) and ready to play a bit with it (but my PC is not really so powerful for up-to-date software I am afraid).
I can't tell much about it (I signed and NDA) but will comment a bit in the future.

In the meanwhile, check out this Video:
