I finally fixed my TR-606, bought years ago. This machine came with a pre-installed mod that adds individual outputs for the different sounds. I then installed a MIDI retrofit that was still needing to be finished...

I bought this kit on eBay after purchasing the TR-606, and sadly it looks like it it not available anymore...

The MIDI Retrofit cannot be installed inside the unit, so I had to put it into an external box.
I Installed the MIDI retrofit in an old "Philips" box I found in my dad's garage (it's not really wonderful...I'll look for a better one sooner or later).

I had an hard time after finishing it. It wasn't receiving MIDI notes...after half an hour of trials I re-read the original instructions and discovered...that it receives signals on MIDI Channel 6 only!!!
